Jason T. Coates
Founder & Managing Director
Jason T. Coates is an accomplished Real Estate Investment Manager, Developer and Entrepreneur with more than three decades of investment in prime real estate markets across Europe and Asia.
Jason's career began in London in 1989, during a period of economic recession preceding the UK's entry into the European Exchange Rate Mechanism. He initially focused on developing high-performance residential real estate in prestigious areas like Notting Hill, Kensington, and Mayfair.
In 2003, Jason seized the opportunity presented by the decline in Continental Europe's real estate markets and expanded his ventures overseas. He diversified into sporting event real estate, heavily investing in Barcelona and the infrastructure surrounding the America's Cup in Valencia. His acquisitions included land and infrastructural assets located in the new maritime development designed by renowned architects Sir David Chipperfield and Santiago Calatrava.
In 2012, Jason seized an opportunity to invest in the London Olympic Village during its period of commercial, retail, and residential transition. This transformation, overseen by Lord Sebastian Coe of the Olympic Delivery Authority, showed great potential and ultimately led to the creation of the hub that East London is today.
Following the final exit of the Olympic portfolio in East London in 2015, Jason and his team shifted their focus back to prime West London residential investment and development opportunities. Their efforts have since been dedicated to identifying undervalued residential assets for acquisition, development, rental, and disposal, leveraging the impact of Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Oliver is a distinguished Real Estate Investor and Asset Manager, specialising in the acquisition, rental, and disposal of residential assets. With a wealth of experience and a strong track record, Oliver leads the research and acquisition efforts at Rarified, applying advanced data analytics to identify market openings and generate a robust deal flow. His strategic approach and deep understanding of the industry contribute to Rarified's success in securing investment grade residential properties.
Prior to his role at Rarified, Oliver held key positions at prominent financial institutions. He served as Global Markets Analyst at Nomura, where he gained valuable insights into global market trends and investment strategies. This experience honed his ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and make informed investment decisions. Following his tenure at Nomura, Oliver joined Eurazeo as Real Assets Analyst, further expanding his expertise in the real estate sector. His time at Eurazeo provided him with valuable insights into asset management strategies and portfolio optimisation.
Drawing on his extensive knowledge and experience, Oliver went on to establish Swix, the PropTech company which leverages a new proprietary rental strategy that generates the highest available rents in the London market today. This showcases Oliver's entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking, developing a rental model which unlocks higher rental performance in residential assets.
Oliver's exceptional academic background also contributes to his success in the industry, graduating cum laude from University College London, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in European History and Politics.
